Elite I-4 Camp

Camp Details:

 

Open to selected Boys and Girls with the birth year of 2005 and 2006.

Players will be split into groups with their age level.

 

Fusion Training's Elite I-4 Camp will consist of 2 blocks and each block will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for 4 weeks for a total of 12 sessions.

 

The camp will consist of an on-ice and an off-ice component focusing on making a difference in each player's game in an intense 4-week camp. By running the camp 3 days in a row, players will be able to develop and maintain habits for their upcoming season. 

 

Camp Starts:

Block A

June 12th-July 12th *No camp the week of the 4th

Block B

4 weeks

July 24th- August  16th 

Days and Times:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

12pm-4pm

Camp's Daily Schedule:

 

*This schedule will vary from day-to-day as we may have to adjust our ice times on a few days. Every week you will receive an email with the ice times.    

 

12:00-1:00 1st Ice Time

This ice time will be heavy on skill development.  The first 25 will be edge work and skating stride.  The next 20 will focus on puck work ranging from passing to stick handling.  The final 20 will contain 1 on 1 compete drills.

 

1:00 -1:30 Break 

After the ice, players will have 30 minutes to get undress and take a quick break before heading to the next station.

1:30-3:00 Off Ice Work

Players spend 90 minutes working on off ice skill development.  Every day they will spend 30 to 40 minutes with our lead strength coach Chad Smith.  The remaining time will be rotate between shooting, stick handling, video from the day before or other game tape or a hockey development game.

3:30-4:00 Dress For The Ice

Players will have 30 minutes to get ready for the final ice time of the day.

4:00-5:00 2nd Ice Time

This ice time will focus mainly on game play.  After a 10 minute skating warm up, players will spend the next 50 minutes focusing on a variety of small area games.  We will take time to explain the games and what each player should be focusing on.  We will stress puck control, puck possession and puck support during these situations.
