Frequently asked questions

Can you make payments? Or does it need to be paid off up front?

Any time after 7:30 AM on Monday through Friday parents will be able to drop their player off at the rink, where we will get started right away with either a game of kickball or four square in the Dome or in front of the Cottage Grove Ice Arena.
From there, our staff will take them to the locker room to get them dressed for the ice, helping the younger campers if they need it. From there, they will go on the ice for the 1st hour of ice of the day.  This ice will focus heavily on skills.
After the ice, we'll take the players back to the locker room to get them dressed for outdoor/dome activities, again helping any of the younger players when they need help.
From there, we'll go to the lobby for snack (each player is responsible to bring their own snack).  As soon as snack is over, players will head up to the Dome and our staff will run them through an arrangement of fun, hockey related off-ice activities.
After that is over the players will have an hour to each lunch and relax.  At that time, the Fusion coaches will talk with players about the game of hockey and answer questions they might have about the game.
When they are all finished eating, we'll take them up to the Dome or outside (weather permitting) for an afternoon game or activity. Then the players will get another chance to relax and have a snack before we get them ready for the 2nd hour of ice time
After the second ice is over, parents are welcomed to pick up their player at any time.  For those players that are still there till 5, we will have another activity or game to keep them busy.

You can do both.  If you would like to make payments you will just need to contact Fusion and select pay off line on the registration.

Can the payments be made Weely?? If so, How?

Absolutely.  Just let us know and we can set up.  You can pay with a check after each week at camp or after every two weeks at camp.  Or you can pay by card online!  You just need to click pay off line and contact us on how to set it up!

Can we use this for a day care credit on our taxes?

Yes.  Just let us know and we can send you the info!

What will the activities consist of?

1st Ice time routine:

Players will learn and work on developing proper techniques on skating and puck control.  We will run them thou various drills that force them beyond their comfort zone and develop the skills that will make them a better player.

Off-ice training:

Here we will run the players through a variety of exercises developed to help players at all ages.  The drills will focus on quick feet, balance, hand/eye and strength.

Outdoor/Dome Activities:

Depending on the weather we plan on going outside to play games such as Kickball, four square, handball, football or free time at the park. If it is too cold, raining or snowing we will use the Dome.

2nd ice time routine:

During the 2nd ice players will utilize many of the skills focused on in the 1st ice and off –ice training to perform a wide arrange of drills.  This ice time will be much more up-tempo them the first.  Friday’s 2nd ice time will be a game for all the families to attend!
